The need & goal
On this project we helped Elevate K-12 define the user experience for a teacher candidate on their updated HR Portal — from the moment a user applies for an online teaching position, adds their experience, takes the tests, and schedules their interview for the role. Elevate K-12 wanted the HR Portal web application to fit seamlessly with the company's branding.
Our approach
The Elevate K-12 dev team shared the application's workflow and low-fidelity wireframes before the UI & UX process. While the wireframes demonstrated some ways of filling in and depicting information, the team was entirely open to us coming up with new and better approaches to the app — so we designed the experience around the candidate, not just the form fields.
