Oreo Wins The SuperBowl For Best Ad

The Oreo team was at the right place at the right time. They had the tools, the means and the will power to accomplish something amazing within 10 minutes. See, during this 2013 Superbowl there just happened to be a massive power outage. Most people would think: “oh noes! this is bad!” The Oreo team though of it another way: What can we do with this situation to put it to our advantage.

Their answer? A super clever ad at exactly the right moment.

Within 10 minutes of the blackout, then were on Twitter and other social media to make their splash. Within those 10 minutes, they responded to public tweets, made a great advertisement that was made specifically for that scene (made within 10 minutes!) and published it. An amazing feat for a company that size. So kudos to you Oreo social team! That is an amazing job done.

The simple, yet effective, ad they published first via twitter was this very simple image. “Dunk In The Dark”.
